Humanly is now broader than a recruiting chatbot. It markets an integrated high-volume hiring platform with candidate engagement, screening, scheduling, structured AI interviews, talent CRM, and ATS workflows. That breadth followed its 2025 acquisitions of Sprockets, Qualifi, and HourWork. Buyers should verify what is unified today and treat every efficiency or hiring result as company-reported until reproduced in their own process.

This analysis reflects public information checked on September 14, 2026. Humanly does not publish a generally applicable list price, so module, usage, implementation, and integration costs require a quote.

Current platform scope

Humanly’s platform page describes AI Recruiter and AI Interviewer functions across chat, SMS, voice, video, screening, scheduling, ranking, and follow-up. Its ATS page adds job distribution, pipeline management, analytics, alerts, CRM, and post-hire communications.

This creates two possible architectures. Humanly can sit beside an existing ATS as an engagement and interview layer, or a customer can evaluate its own ATS and CRM functions as more of the operating system. The right choice depends on feature maturity, existing contracts, data flow, and the cost of running two candidate records.

The website publishes customer outcomes and platform scale figures. These are vendor-selected, company-reported results, not controlled evidence that another employer will achieve the same outcome.

Acquisitions expanded the promise

Humanly announced the acquisition of Sprockets, Qualifi, and HourWork on October 14, 2025. The announcement attributes sourcing and screening, interviewing, frontline workflows, and retention or workforce functions to the combined platform.

The transaction announcement verifies the acquisitions and intended direction. It does not prove that identity, data, user experience, permissions, analytics, contracts, and support are fully unified. Ask the vendor to demonstrate the exact production journey and identify any legacy service, separate login, data copy, or additional agreement.

Conversations and scores can influence selection

Humanly says its system can engage candidates, ask questions, conduct structured interviews, produce transcripts, and present ranked or color-coded results. Even when a recruiter makes the final decision, these outputs can determine who receives attention.

Configure questions from a job analysis and define acceptable evidence before launch. For each output, preserve the question, response, transcript, rubric version, score or recommendation, explanation, human reviewer, override, and disposition. Test transcription and scoring across accents, speech differences, languages, devices, bandwidth, and accommodations. Offer an equivalent human or accessible path.

Do not use sentiment, appearance, voice style, or conversational fluency as a proxy for capability unless the employer can establish a specific job-related requirement and lawful validation. A transcript can improve review, but it can also capture more personal information than a conventional application.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s guidance on employment tests and selection procedures explains the employer’s responsibilities around selection tools and adverse impact. For New York City roles, also assess the official Automated Employment Decision Tools requirements based on the actual configuration.

Map the full candidate-data lifecycle

Humanly’s privacy policy describes information collected through its website, services, applications, interviews, and candidate processes, along with disclosures, retention, transfers, and data rights. Use it to begin the data map, then reconcile it with the contract and data-processing addendum.

Document the lifecycle for phone numbers, chat and SMS content, audio, video, transcripts, screening answers, inferred fields, scores, scheduling data, and post-hire communications. Identify subprocessors, storage regions, retention by media type, customer deletion controls, model use, incident notice, and the effect of contract termination.

Pilot the complete path

Run one high-volume role through application, automated contact, screening, interview, scheduling, ATS update, human review, rejection or offer, and deletion. Include duplicate applications, opt-out, a reschedule, a failed integration, disputed transcription, accommodation, and revoked recruiter access.

Measure qualified-candidate response, completion, time by stage, recruiter intervention, false-positive review, candidate complaints, advancement, accepted starts, and early retention against a baseline. Do not convert vendor-reported hours or selected customer outcomes directly into a financial forecast.

Humanly should advance when automation reduces delay while questions remain job-related, decisions remain reviewable, accommodations work, and the system-of-record boundary is clear. It should pause when a buyer cannot distinguish the acquired components, explain ranking, price the complete flow, or control the expanded store of conversational data.
